Hello, everyone! Today, let's dive into the exciting world of a new car, the Hyper HT. Hyper is the premium brand under GAC AION, and this model marks its third production vehicle. Positioned as a mid-to-large SUV, it stands out with its longer and taller profile compared to the Tesla Model Y, boasting an extended wheelbase, albeit just a millimeter narrower in width.

Visually, the overall exterior design embraces the conventional look of a coupe SUV, featuring a rounded front face, bearing some resemblance to the Model Y. The Hyper HT offers a variety of youthful exterior colors to complement its style.

Meticulous attention to detail is evident in some design elements, with the headlights resembling jewel-filled boxes when illuminated. The charging port is conveniently located on the left rear side, revealing integrated interfaces for both fast and slow charging. The almost-closed-off wheel design effectively minimizes air resistance, and the rear window is fitted with privacy glass.

Stepping inside, the rear passenger space is remarkably spacious. A person around 6 feet tall can comfortably stretch his legs, experiencing a natural seating position. The front seats even come with tray tables on the back.

The rear seatbacks can recline up to 143 degrees, allowing passengers to comfortably lounge during the drive. Coupled with ample rear space, it provides a luxurious and comfortable ride for families on long road trips.

There's a single USB-C interface in the rear, though having two would be even better.

The front space is equally expansive, devoid of any sense of confinement. The seats exhibit excellent wraparound comfort and softness.

The interior materials and craftsmanship are impressive. Soft materials surround touchpoints, leaving almost no hard plastic surfaces exposed. Even areas like the lower edges of the door panel storage compartments and the center console armrest use leather-like materials, conveying a sense of luxury.

The suede material on the roof adds a plush and comfortable touch. Many interior elements feature rounded and curved designs, creating an amiable ambiance.

The instrument cluster is placed at the top edge of the steering wheel, functioning similarly to a HUD. The flat-bottom design of the steering wheel, both on the top and bottom edges, enhances maneuverability.

The responsiveness of the central screen is commendable, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chips. The air vents are not concealed, making air direction adjustments easily accessible.

Another standout feature in the seating department is that the front passenger seat can be folded flat, connecting with the rear seats to create a more spacious resting area.

Unfortunately, the glove compartment for the front passenger has been removed.

Now, let's talk about its power system. The higher-spec variants come with an 800V fast-charging capability, claiming a range of 450 kilometers in just 15-minute charging session.

On the advanced driver assistance front, it takes a relatively conservative approach. Full-scene NDA, including highway and urban navigation assistance, is only available in the top-tier model.

This driver assistance system heavily relies on high-precision maps, offering sensor options such as 3R6V, 5R11V, and 6R13V.

Sound insulation is commendable as well, with double-layer soundproof glass on all four doors as a standard feature. The acceleration is linear, with a fastest 0-100 km/h time of 5.8 seconds.

In the personalized mode settings on the central screen, you can adjust steering force, acceleration response, braking response, and energy recovery to suit different driving preferences.

On the road, the chassis tuning leans towards comfort and flexibility, effectively minimizing bumps even on undulating surfaces at high speeds.

This model hit the market on November 15, offering a lineup of six trim levels priced between 213,900 yuan and 329,900 yuan. According to GAC AION, 2,000 units were delivered within the first half month of its market release. From this test drive experience, it's clear that the Hyper HT is a well-balanced product in terms of exterior design, seating comfort, power performance, and energy efficiency—a great choice for family travel.
